Exclusive to PITSA customers

Specialized FRP equipment transport

Our own fleet, experienced in oversized loads. We deliver door-to-door anywhere in Mexico or the United States — an exclusive service for customers who buy FRP equipment from us, offered below market rate as part of our value package.

This service is only available when purchasing FRP equipment from PITSA. We do not quote standalone transport for equipment from other manufacturers.

Why it costs less than you'd expect

It's not additional margin on top of the equipment — it's a subsidized service included in the purchase package.

When you buy equipment from us, transport is billed at cost plus a minimal operating fee. We prefer to absorb the margin an external carrier would take, because that way we guarantee the equipment arrives in perfect condition — with no ambiguity about who's responsible if something happens on the road. For the same reason, we don't offer it as a standalone service: what makes it viable is the complete customer-manufacturer relationship.

  • Up to 30% cheaper than hiring a comparable external carrier
  • No third parties: one owner from our plant to yours
  • No hidden fees — permits, escort, and insurance are included in the quote

What we ship

Specialized FRP cargo. Product-specific experience avoids damage during handling.

Large-diameter tanks

Vertical and horizontal, up to 5+ meters diameter and 20+ meters length. With specialized cradles to prevent ovalization.

Pipes and ducts

Long sections, large diameters, and non-standard geometries. Secured without pressure points that damage the laminate.

Modular equipment

Coordinated delivery of pieces that assemble on site — we sync arrivals so your crew isn't waiting.

Oversized loads

Cargo that exceeds road limits — with special permits, escorts, and overnight route planning when needed.

Our fleet

Owned equipment operated by personnel trained in FRP handling. No subcontracting.

Lowboy trailers

Extendable gooseneck platforms for tall loads. Ideal for large-diameter vertical tanks.

Pilot vehicles (escorts)

Lead and trail vehicles with signaling, radio, and personnel trained in traffic handling for oversized loads.

Standard and extended flatbeds

For multiple loads, long pipes, and equipment that doesn't require a lowboy. With certified tie-downs and tarps.

Experienced operators

Drivers with current federal license, indivisible load handling training, and specific FRP product knowledge.

Where we deliver

Documentation ready and real experience in every state. We don't learn on the job.

All of Mexico

Proven experience in all 32 states. Relationships with SCT, state SICTs, and local authorities for early permit processing. Pre-validated routes for oversized loads in the northern, Bajío, and southeast industrial corridors.

United States

Frequent border crossings: Laredo, Nuevo Laredo, Matamoros, Mexicali, Tijuana. In-house customs broker. Experience with DOT, state permits (Texas, California, Louisiana), and private escorts where required.

Customs clearance

Pedimentos, certificates of origin, proforma invoices, and all documentation for smooth crossings. Our team coordinates directly with your broker or ours.

How it works

Three steps from planning to delivery.

  1. 1

    Route and permit planning

We calculate final dimensions, identify route restrictions (low bridges, tight turns), and secure SCT and state permits. Between 3 and 10 business days depending on complexity.

  2. 2

    Safe loading and escort

Our operators load with certified cradles and tie-downs. Escorts coordinate with traffic and police where applicable. Real-time GPS during transit.

  3. 3

    Delivery and unloading

We arrive with personnel who supervise the unloading and hand off the equipment to your installation crew. Photographic delivery report included.

Documentation and compliance

Everything formal transport requires — current and available before leaving the plant.

SCT and state permits

Connectivity permit, indivisible cargo permit, and state permits for the route.

Cargo insurance

Current policy covering the declared value of the equipment during transit, including loading and unloading maneuvers.

Customs documentation (when applicable)

Pedimento, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin. Coordination with Mexican and US customs brokers.

GPS tracking

Real-time monitoring of the unit. We share a link so you and your customer can follow delivery progress.
