Fiberglass Pipes (FRP)

Manufacturing of custom isometric fiberglass piping in an industrial plant.

Fiberglass pipes (also known as FRP pipes, for Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) are the ideal solution for transporting liquids or gases in corrosive environments, under high pressure, or in applications that require long service life with minimal maintenance.

With over 60 years of experience manufacturing FRP products, PITSA designs and manufactures fiberglass piping systems fully customized to meet the needs of your project.

Advantages of Fiberglass Pipes

FRP pipes offer several advantages over traditional materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, or PVC:

  • High chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and solvents
  • Lightweight, which reduces transportation and installation costs
  • Long service life with no oxidation or degradation
  • Low maintenance, even in harsh environments
  • Fully customizable in terms of diameter, thickness, resin type, and fittings
  • Excellent long-term cost-efficiency

Production Capacity

Continuous filament winding machinery for large-scale pipe manufacturing.

We operate 6 winding machines and 2 demolding units, allowing us to produce pipe sections of up to 32 ft in length.

This setup enables us to manage multiple orders or segments of the same pipeline simultaneously, optimizing delivery times for large industrial projects.

Isometric Piping

Custom isometric FRP piping manufactured and installed by our technical team.

At PITSA, we also design and manufacture isometric piping systems based on blueprints, complex routes, or on-site measurements. These include:

  • Elbows
  • Tees and reducers
  • Flanges
  • Structural supports
  • Special or transition fittings

Each system is delivered ready to install, minimizing on-site work and ensuring fast, safe, and efficient installation.

We also provide installation services, fully compliant with legal and safety requirements such as installer insurance, DC3 certifications, and safe work procedures.

Manufacturing and Quality Control

All our pipes are produced under strict quality standards, including:

  • Hydrostatic pressure testing
  • Dimensional inspections
  • Visual and photographic documentation
  • Complete production dossier (DOSSIER)

We comply with both national and international standards such as:

  • RTP-1
  • ASTM D2996 / D2310 / D2992
  • ASME RTP-1
  • ISO 14692
