About Us

Plásticos Industriales de Tampico, S.A. de C.V. (PITSA) has been serving the industry since 1965, as a pioneer in the development of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) technology. We introduced Mexico's first Filament-Wound technology for the production of high-strength equipment.
Focus on High-Quality Engineering
In 1980, we acquired advanced technology with new techniques for using thermoplastics (PVC, PE, PVDF, and PP), which can be combined (Dual-Laminate) with traditional reinforced plastic to expand the range of corrosion-resistant solutions.
Market Leader

PITSA is a leading company in the design and manufacturing of reinforced plastic equipment, utilizing the Filament-Wound process to produce tanks, pipes, and FRP ducts, as well as manual molding (Hand Lay Up) techniques to manufacture fans, hoods, stacks, valves, and gratings.
Commitment to Product Quality
PITSA exceeds industry quality standards by applying advanced design technologies such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate variables like internal pressure, specific gravity, seismic loads, and wind loads, ensuring optimal performance of our equipment.
Extensive International Experience

With over 7,000
work orders completed since 1965 and more than 14,000
fiberglass products delivered — including tanks, pipes, and gratings — PITSA has been internationally recognized since 2005, when we began exporting our products to the United States and other countries worldwide, thanks to our strategic location with direct access to our facilities at the international port of Tampico, Tamaulipas.
Unmatched Production Capacity in Mexico
Our PITSA facilities in Tampico are located just minutes away, by sea, from the international ports of Tampico and Altamira.
Our unique location allows even the largest equipment to be shipped in one piece by sea, avoiding expensive on-site assembly.
We have more than 100,000 square feet
of production area and nearly 140,000 square feet
of maneuvering and loading yards.

One of the four main production areas in Tampico, Tamaulipas.
